For over 20 years, Sonia Peñaherrera has worked in the professional beauty care industry. As a young girl growing up, she always enjoyed using makeup and other skin care products to help her family and friends enhance their beauty.
Upon moving to the United States, she was determined to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a cosmetologist. That dream was realized when Sonia earned a certification in cosmetology from the Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics & Cosmetology in New York. There, she received an expansive education across a range of beauty disciplines, studying under renowned experts in the industry.
Sonia has specialized in nail care, hair care, and make-up. Discovering a greater interest in skin care, Sonia became a Licensed Aesthetician, she has worked as a professional skin care expert for over 10 years, and Certified as a Phlebotomist Tecnician.
As a licensed cosmetologist and aesthetician in Connecticut and New York, Sonia has worked at numerous medical spas in both states, where she honed her skills and knowledge. To keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and products, she has attended workshops in California, Las Vegas, Chicago, Texas and Miami.
As founder of Sbella Skin Care, Sonia brings not only her passion for skin care but a wealth of experience to all her clients. She appreciates the opportunity to help women, men, and even children understand how their skin works and what causes it to change. She works with them to develop a proper skincare routine for both their face and body by providing them with the best and most effective treatments and products based on their individual skin type and needs.
Sonia knows inner and outer beauty are connected, and her mission is to help people feel good and bring out their best through beautiful skin.
